Every morning at Heber Valley sunrise, I send one email: a daily mantra, a painting of the Heber Valley, and that day's Utah sunrise and sunset times.
The mantra is a short thought to carry into the day. The painting gives it a place: the mountains, river, lake and little corners of this valley. It's art, not a photo of what the sky looked like that morning.
It's all becoming one 365-day project, with a unique mantra and a painting for each day of the year. Still a work in progress. The mantras are sincere, the art is a mix, and the church is made up as we go.
